My Injury & Background ​ 

For more than 45 years, I lived with chronic, severe lower back pain. It impacted almost every aspect of my daily life and was constantly compounded by debilitating migraines. Over the decades, I tried countless ways to manage it, but true relief from that intense nerve pain always felt out of reach. ​

My Treatment 

​On March 4th, I underwent the Intracept procedure on my L5 and S1 vertebrae at Flagstaff Bone & Joint. After living with pain for nearly half a century, I was hopeful but amazed by how smooth the experience was. ​

My Recovery & How I'm Doing Today ​

My post-op recovery has been incredible. While I do still experience some back pain in other areas, the intense, debilitating nerve pain I used to have in my L5 and S1 is completely gone. Furthermore, my migraines have completely vanished as well. 

​How My Life Has Improved

​Knocking out that severe nerve pain and the migraines has completely changed my daily life. Waking up and moving through the day without carrying that heavy, intense pain I endured for 45 years is a massive relief. I am incredibly grateful to the team at Flagstaff Bone & Joint for successfully targeting and eliminating the root of that severe pain.
