My Comeback Story: Brasen D.

As a D-1 collegiate athlete, I work diligently on my form, function, and health to compete at the peak of my capabilities. I bring that same dedication to my academics as I do to the track. When a persistent injury left me unable to lift my leg, I sought assistance through the athletic trainers at California State University - Fullerton, where I have run on scholarship for two years. When the injury persisted, I flew home to see Dr. Swain. He immediately performed scans, identified cam lesions in my hip, and administered treatment that started my recovery that same day.
