Monika Swanson, P.T., D.P.T.

Monika is a native Arizonan. She attended Northern Arizona University (NAU), earning a Bachelor of Science degree in microbiology pre-professional health with a minor in chemistry in 2004. Monika is also a former collegiate athlete, participating in Division I Swimming at NAU. In 2013, she earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from NAU.

Monika has focused her clinical practice on outpatient orthopaedics, providing pre- and post-op rehabilitation, and has a particular interest in sports injuries as well as other various orthopaedics conditions and impairments related to the hip, knee, foot, and ankle.

Monika aims to focus on patient-centered care and implement the most up-to-date, evidence-based treatments to maximize function, decrease pain, and improve her patients' overall health and quality of life. She enjoys working with patients of all ages and is also certified to perform Graston Technique®.

In her free time, Monika enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends, maintaining an active lifestyle by being outdoors, working out, skiing, and traveling with her husband and daughter. She is also an avid sports fan.
