Flagstaff Bone & Joint Raises $2,420 for Local Athletes through 2025 Sports Physicals

Flagstaff Bone & Joint, the region’s most preferred orthopaedic practice, hosted a highly successful sports physical event on July 19 at its Flagstaff office, located at 525 N. Switzer Canyon Drive. The annual event served 242 local student-athletes preparing for the 2025 to 2026 school year and raised a total of $2,420 to be donated directly to the athletic programs of the participating schools and associations.

In addition to these donations, Flagstaff Bone & Joint will match the total amount raised by Coconino High School athletes as a sponsorship contribution to support their athletic program.

“Our commitment to our community extends far beyond providing expert orthopaedic care,” said Dr. Darius Moezzi, board-certified and fellowship-trained sports medicine surgeon at Flagstaff Bone & Joint. “Supporting the health, safety and success of our young athletes is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do. This event allows us to give back in a way that directly benefits their athletic programs and future.”

The sports physical event provided expert, low-cost evaluations to student-athletes from various area schools and organizations, helping ensure they are prepared for a safe and healthy sports season. One hundred percent of the proceeds will be returned to the athletic programs each athlete represents. This year’s participants included athletes from numerous local schools and associations throughout Flagstaff and the surrounding areas, including:
