Flagstaff Bone & Joint recently raised $1,400 for the athletic departments of local schools during their annual sports physical event held on Saturday, June 1, at their Flagstaff office, located at 77 West Forest Ave., Suite 301, from 8 to 11 a.m. The practice’s licensed healthcare professional performed 140 sports physicals for local student-athletes.

Flagstaff Bone & Joint is growing their practice by building an ambulatory surgical center, located at 501 North Switzer Canyon Road.

The Flagstaff Bone & Joint Ambulatory Surgical Center (ASC) will focus on providing patients with access to advanced outpatient surgery. The medical facility will be physician-owned and physician-operated, allowing the specialty-trained doctors and staff to meet the needs of their patients in a timely manner. Flagstaff Bone & Joint provided 104 sports physicals for local student athletes on Saturday, June 2, and raised $1,040 in proceeds, which will all be given to the athletic departments of the schools the athletes attend. All area student athletes were welcome. Eric Freas, MEd, ATC, LAT, certified athletic trainer at Coconino High School, has been named the regional nominee for The Newell National Athletic Trainer of the Year Award.
